About the Project

Project save the African child was born out of the degenerating situation of the typical remote areas in Africa, A.S.T.O as a non-profit making organisation has decided to take the bull by the horn to redress this ugly scenario by getting assistance for students, youths and the ageing population of these communities that are usually called “the forgotten ones”.

It is however very sad that African leaders today have taken pleasure in enriching themselves rather than meeting the need of the society especially the less privilege. Millions have been thrown into this sector by the UN and many international charitable organisations but we in Africa are yet to see implementation of any sort be it agriculture, health, security, education and many other sectors. This sheer act of wickedness has made the formally bad situation to become far worse as children die every day from very basic of sicknesses (malaria, chicken pox, cholera), and starvation thereby resulting to an ever increasing ageing population without a corresponding increase in the active population as most children die as infants and those that don’t die are too weak to work as a result of starvation. At this rate, further negligence of these communities will see it extinct in less than a hundred years.

It is however in relation to this that our organisation has taken a drastic step to help the children and youths of these communities, by being their link to the outer world and bringing the essence of life to them in their remote areas in a project tagged SAVE THE AFRICAN CHILD (SAC). We therefore implore you to be a part of this project as millions of African children are counting on you as their last hope of living a “normal” life.

Due to the enormous size of this task, the said project has been divided into different phases each dealing with a very unique problem. The first phase of this project would focus on education. Other phases include healthcare and agriculture.
